Job summary

Adecco is seeking a Dimensional Analyst Technician for our client in Dearborn, MI. The position is on the first shift (7:00 am - 3:30 pm), with OT and weekend work as required, and pays up to $30 hourly depending on experience.

You will perform and maintain component dimensional analysis equipment and measurements, measure hard points and 3D laser data with a CMM arm, and prepare detailed results for the team and customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 8 years of CMM, CAD or related experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and very detailed oriented.
• Advanced computer skills: Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Strong automotive components knowledge.
• Ability to navigate CATIA, Teamcenter and PolyWorks software.

Responsibilities

• Measure hard points and 3D laser scan data for components and vehicles using CMM arm.
• Assist and lead team and customer meetings.
• Support supervisor and team members with report status.
• Interpret technical dimensional documents.
• Troubleshoot and solve issues related to CMM software and hardware.
• Set up and tear down components and vehicles on dimensional surface plates.
• Perform regularly scheduled calibration checks of CMM equipment.
• Prepare technical dimensional analysis results.
