Belcan Corporation in Dearborn, MI is seeking a Dimensional Analyst Technician Senior to perform CMM-based dimensional analysis on components and vehicles, delivering precise measurement data to engineering teams. The role includes mentoring teammates and ensuring adherence to client standards.

The position follows a Mon-Fri schedule, 7:00am–3:30pm, with immediate Start Date. Pay is $27–$30/hr, and Belcan offers health/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), education assistance, and paid time off.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
8+ years of CMM, CAD, or related experience.
CAD, Metrology certificate preferred.
Associate degree in Engineering, Design or Metrology preferred.

Responsibilities

Train, coach, and mentor team members related to their job responsibilities and serve as a subject matter expert.
Measure hard points and 3D laser scan data for components and complete vehicles using a CMM arm.
Support the supervisor and team with report status.
Assist and lead team and customer meetings.
Interpret technical dimensional documents.
Troubleshoot and solve issues related to CMM software and hardware.
Setup and tear down of components and vehicles on dimensional surface plates.
Perform regular calibration checks and maintenance of CMM equipment.
Prepare technical dimensional analysis results for distribution.
Participate in daily surface plates clean-up for upcoming projects.
