Job summary

Morningside House of Spotsylvania is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) – Shift Supervisor to lead a care team and oversee medication administration in a memory care setting.

This role requires CMA certification, a High School diploma, and the ability to follow the five rights; you will collaborate with licensed nurses and participate in staff training while supporting residents with dignity and empathy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certified Medication Aide certification required.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications safely and accurately.
• Lead shift and team members in coordination with Director of Health and Wellness, ADON and RCC.
• Communicates with medical staff, nursing service and other department supervisors.
• Maintains a clean and organized Medication Room and adheres to infection control practices.
