Job summary

Texas Health Resources in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Lead Certified Medical Assistant to guide back-office staff and ensure efficient patient flow in a fast-paced, high-volume clinic.

You will handle patient prep, vital signs, meds administration, vaccines, and coordinate supplies, with a strong focus on quality care and teamwork. This full-time role requires CMA certification, BCLS, and THPG clinical training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED)
• Four (4) years of medical assistant experience (REQUIRED)
• CMA - Current Certified Medical Assistant (REQUIRED)
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support (REQUIRED)
• Successful completion of THPG Clinical Training (CT) program with demonstrated competency (REQUIRED)
• NCT - Non-certified Radiologic Technician training may be required (PREFERRED)
• Medication Aide Certification may be required (PREFERRED)

Responsibilities

• Directs and guides back office staff in monitoring and expediting workflow.
• Handles medical supply inventory, orders, and cost control.
• Performs general patient care by following established standards and procedures.
• Greets and prepares patients for the health care provider.
• Obtains and records vital signs and other information (height, weight, allergies, medications).
• Administers ordered medications via oral, topical, rectal, ophthalmic, and/or inhalant administration.
• Administers vaccines via oral, topical, injection and/or nasal administration.
