The Assistant Housekeeping Manager supports the Housekeeping Manager by overseeing daily housekeeping services across the club, ensuring all areas are clean and maintained to high standards.
Responsibilities
- Support department operations and train staff on cleaning techniques and tasks.
- Evaluate staff performance daily and address issues promptly.
- Conduct regular walkthroughs to ensure cleanliness and equipment functionality.
- Monitor laundry equipment and report issues.
- Maintain cleanliness in all common areas, locker rooms, restrooms, patios, and tennis courts.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and amenities.
- Supervise evening staff to complete tasks and address all club areas.
- Organize and maintain cleanliness of loading dock and parking areas.
- Coordinate with departments for event setup and teardown.
- Maintain schedules for deep cleaning and other periodic tasks.
- Participate in weekly property inspections with management.
- Assist with inventory management of towels and supplies.
- Ensure safety and security protocols are followed.
- Handle personnel issues and enforce company policies consistently.
- Participate in ongoing training programs.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2-4 years of housekeeping experience.
- 1-2 years of management experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of housekeeping standards.

- Experience in cleaning large buildings.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Reliable attendance, with flexibility for extended hours.
- Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and special events.
- Ability to walk the entire property multiple times daily.
- Ability to lift 30 pounds regularly.
