The Assistant Housekeeping Manager supports the Housekeeping Manager by overseeing daily housekeeping services across the club, ensuring all areas are clean and maintained to high standards.

Responsibilities
  • Support department operations and train staff on cleaning techniques and tasks.
  • Evaluate staff performance daily and address issues promptly.
  • Conduct regular walkthroughs to ensure cleanliness and equipment functionality.
  • Monitor laundry equipment and report issues.
  • Maintain cleanliness in all common areas, locker rooms, restrooms, patios, and tennis courts.
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and amenities.
  • Supervise evening staff to complete tasks and address all club areas.
  • Organize and maintain cleanliness of loading dock and parking areas.
  • Coordinate with departments for event setup and teardown.
  • Maintain schedules for deep cleaning and other periodic tasks.
  • Participate in weekly property inspections with management.
  • Assist with inventory management of towels and supplies.
  • Ensure safety and security protocols are followed.
  • Handle personnel issues and enforce company policies consistently.
  • Participate in ongoing training programs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2-4 years of housekeeping experience.
  • 1-2 years of management experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of housekeeping standards.
Skills
  • Professional and courteous communication with all staff levels.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Superior customer service and composure under pressure.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.

Requirements
  • Experience in cleaning large buildings.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Reliable attendance, with flexibility for extended hours.
  • Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and special events.
  • Ability to walk the entire property multiple times daily.
  • Ability to lift 30 pounds regularly.
Working Conditions
  • Exposure to outdoor elements and construction conditions.
  • Frequent movement, standing, bending, and lifting.
