Job summary

Kapsch TrafficCom North America seeks a highly experienced lead Systems Engineer to own end-to-end tolling and mobility projects across North America. You will drive architecture, integration, and cloud-based solutions, coordinate with hardware, software, and customer teams, and set technical direction from bid to handoff.

Qualifications include 7+ years in Systems Engineering, a Bachelor's in Engineering, and proven ability to present to customers and manage stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 7+ years experience in Systems Engineering.
• Experience with cloud-based solutions, preferably Azure.
• Proven experience presenting to customers and managing stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical ownership from bid to handoff.
• Define system-level architecture, requirements, KPIs, and acceptance criteria.
• Lead design and integration of internal and third-party systems.
• Develop end-to-end technical solutions across hardware, software, and cloud components.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance through development and testing.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure delivery.
• Lead cloud-based solution discussions with customers.
