Job summary

Kapsch TrafficCom is seeking a highly experienced lead Systems Engineer to own the technical direction for complex tolling and mobility projects across North America. The role emphasizes end-to-end ownership of hardware, software, and cloud components, with primary responsibility for architecture and integration across multiple teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in Systems Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Proven experience delivering technical presentations and managing stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical ownership for tolling and mobility projects across North America.
• Define system-level architecture, requirements, KPIs, and acceptance criteria for complex solutions.
• Lead design and integration of internal and third-party systems with traceability from concept to deployment.
• Develop end-to-end technical solutions spanning hardware, software, and cloud components.
• Support proposal activities through requirements analysis, feasibility studies, and solution development.
• Facilitate technical workshops and work directly with customers to gather requirements and propose solutions.
• Provide technical leadership across development, integration, testing, and troubleshooting.
