Job summary

Kestra is seeking a Lead Tech SRE for Kestra Cloud to own end-to-end architecture, deliver the platform on GCP, and lead a small team of SREs.

You will write specs, set standards for Terraform modules, Helm charts, and GitOps, and drive automation for provisioning, upgrades, backups, and decommissioning.

This hands-on leadership role requires staying hands-on with Terraform and Kubernetes while guiding the technical direction with the CTO and security engineer.

Qualifications

• Experience leading SRE teams and delivering cloud platforms.
• Strong skills in Terraform, Kubernetes, and GitOps.
• Proven ability to write design docs and RFCs.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture specs for Kestra Cloud on GCP.
• Define SLOs, error budgets, and prioritization.
• Deliver Terraform modules, Helm charts, and GitOps patterns.
• Automate provisioning, upgrades, backups, migrations.
• Lead a three-person team and collaborate with CTO and security engineer.
