Job summary
A leading cloud services provider in California is seeking a Lead Cloud Platform Engineer to design and operate scalable cloud platforms using AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Azure. The role emphasizes modernizing and optimizing cloud infrastructure, implementing CI/CD practices, and leading application migrations to Kubernetes and OpenShift environments. Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in cloud, DevOps, platform, or infrastructure engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, and Azure.
- Advanced expertise in Kubernetes and OpenShift.
- Proven experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines at scale.
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems, networking (TCP/IP, DNS), and distributed systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement multi-cloud architectures across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
- Lead application and platform migrations from legacy systems to Kubernetes.
- Define and enforce cloud governance, IAM, RBAC, and compliance standards.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
