Job summary

Peraton seeks a Cloud Software Engineer to support mission-critical operations within our Compute Team, building and optimizing a massively parallel enterprise platform for data-intensive analytics. You will work with Java, Kubernetes, Hadoop, and Accumulo to deliver cloud-native solutions while collaborating across disciplines and pursuing independent projects in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with a current polygraph is required.
• High School/GED plus 8 years in software development lifecycle; degree equivalence applies.
• Bachelor's in CS or related field preferred; Master's may substitute years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop cloud-native software using Java in a Kubernetes/Hadoop/Accumulo ecosystem.
• Build scalable distributed systems for large data analytics.
• Address complex technical challenges impacting national security.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and drive projects independently.
• Automate the ATO process using the Risk Management Framework.
