Job summary

Peraton is hiring a Cloud Software Engineer in Laurel, MD to join its Cyber Missions team. The role focuses on developing cloud-native software in Java and building scalable data processing systems using Kubernetes, Hadoop, Accumulo, and related OSS.

You will work with a cross-functional team to deliver mission-critical solutions, while also having the autonomy to lead projects and learn new technologies in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop cloud-native software solutions using Java in a Kubernetes and Hadoop ecosystem.
• Build and support scalable, distributed systems that manage mission data.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and drive projects independently.
