Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking an exceptional Lead System Platform Architect to join our team supporting a SOCOM customer. The role focuses on leading a team in designing, building and implementing a secure private cloud platform tailored to the customer’s operational needs.

You will lead engineers in establishing a robust hybrid cloud environment, define architecture and security posture, and oversee migration efforts to ensure compliance with DoW for handling

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science required.
• 7+ years of related experience required.
• Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance required.
• Experience with private cloud, virtualization, and cloud management platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers and administrators for private cloud design and implementation.
• Define architecture, security posture, and operational processes for the SOCOM private cloud.
• Oversee application migration efforts and ensure DoW compliance for handling classified information.
