Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) seeks a Cloud Architect Sr Principal to lead cloud strategy for government, defense, and intelligence programs. You will shape architecture, governance, and migration to a scalable cloud hosting model.

You will ensure compliance with FISMA, FedRAMP, RMF, and ATO while integrating security, IAM, PKI, and encryption. Offutt AFB, NE is the location; a BS and active security credentials are required.

Qualifications

• BS degree; may be substituted for additional years of experience.
• 10+ years of experience.
• Security Clearance Level: Top Secret/SCI possible.
• ITIL 4 Foundation and 8140 certifications within required timeframe.
• Knowledge of cloud architecture models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and hybrid environments.
• Familiarity with Federal security and compliance frameworks (FISMA, FedRAMP, RMF, ATO).

Responsibilities

• Define the overall cloud architecture and provide input into design and operations.
• Integrate application, server, network security and government requirements.
• Participate in product evaluation and selection process.
• Develop deliverables to advance USSTRATCOM strategy in cloud transition.
• Research market trends to align architectural approach with service needs.
• Assist in closing gaps in the initial solution and messaging.
