Job summary

Saks Global seeks a Technical SME to lead integration delivery and guide architectural design for cloud-based platforms. You will mentor global development teams, ensure code quality, and oversee platform enhancements while contributing up to 20% with hands-on engineering.

Key skills include Spring Boot, Java, AWS services, API design, and DevOps practices. This 6-month contract role reports to EI Platform leadership and supports enterprise initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 4-7+ years of experience in integration development and technical leadership within global enterprises.
• Deep expertise in API architecture, microservices, enterprise messaging systems, and cloud-native solutions.
• Implementation experience of integration cloud platforms at a global scale.
• Optional/Nice-to-Have: Experience with MuleSoft, IIB, IBM MQ, or GoAnywhere MFT.
• Deep experience of integration and API architecture and strong understanding of DevOps / CI / CD.
• Understanding of security concepts such as identity management, authentication, authorization.

Responsibilities

• Lead integration delivery and guide architectural design.
• Mentor internal and offshore developer teams; perform code reviews; enforce governance.
• Review, approve, and implement cloud integration solutions and API designs.
• Oversee build improvements, platform upgrades, migrations, and monitoring.
• Drive CI/CD automation and manage release artifacts; troubleshoot in cloud environments.
• Occasionally perform hands-on engineering tasks (up to 20%).
