Job summary

Saks Global is seeking a Technical SME to lead integration delivery, guide architectural design, and align projects with the enterprise roadmap in a 6‑month contract role. You will mentor development teams, ensure code quality, and oversee platform enhancements while maintaining up to 20% hands‑on development.

You will drive architecture reviews, cloud integration solutions, and monitoring across cloud environments, with emphasis on AWS, microservices, and enterprise messaging.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 4-7+ years of experience in integration development and technical leadership within global enterprises.
• Deep expertise in API architecture, microservices, enterprise messaging systems, and cloud-native solutions.
• Implementation experience of integration cloud platforms at a global scale.
• Optional/Nice-to-Have: MuleSoft, IIB, IBM MQ, or GoAnywhere MFT.
• Strong DevOps / CI / CD understanding and security concepts.

Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership & Mentoring: Guide and mentor internal and offshore developer teams, perform code reviews, and enforce integration governance policies.
• Architecture & Design: Partner with Integration Architects to review, approve, and implement cloud integration solutions and API designs.
• Platform & Monitoring Management: Oversee build improvements, platform upgrades, migrations, and ensure robust monitoring using CloudWatch, Datadog, and Splunk.
• DevOps & Delivery: Drive CI/CD automation, manage release artifacts, and troubleshoot technical issues across complex cloud environments.
• Hands‑on Development: Execute hands‑on engineering tasks (up to 20%) to support complex features or framework builds.
