Lead Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Lead Cloud Infrastructure Engineer leads the planning, design, and engineering of enterprise-level infrastructure and platforms related to cloud computing; cloud computing is a model of IT deployment whereby a provider delivers an IT solution as platform virtualization (Platform as a Service, PaaS), or as an application to customers for use as a service on demand (Software as a Service, SaaS), or infrastructure/resources (Infrastructure as a Service, IaaS); has experience in system development and has developed an expertise in software, hardware, data structures, and communications technology across multiple platforms.

Recognized subject matter expert with specialized knowledge in the function. Manages large projects or processes. Limited oversight from manager. Coaches, reviews and delegates work to lower level professionals. Problems faced are difficult and often complex. Influences others regarding policies, practices and procedures. Provides solutions to a variety of advanced complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge. May be the in-house expert on specific technologies or within the job function area. Complete understanding and wide application of advanced technical principles, theories and concepts in a specialized field. Possess broad knowledge of professional field and other related functions. Goals are provided to the incumbent in form of desired results. Determines and develops approach to solve functional area related issues. Enhanced level understanding of the department and the role that is plays in supporting the organization. Is able to easily work with other departments to determine strategy and processes. Seeks new ways to improve department and function within the company. Regular provides insight into complex issues and for complex department questions. Either sets or participates in department goal setting. Regular provides direction for junior staff members. Has advanced technical knowledge and has some knowledge in related disciplines.

Possess the strongest of skills acquired through advanced training, study and experience. May posses four year college degree (or additional relevant experience in a related field). Minimum 8 years functional experience including a minimum of 5 years position specific experience.

Compensation

Alteryx is committed to fair, equitable, and transparent compensation. Final compensation is determined by several factors, including but not limited to relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location. The base salary range for this role in the United States is $160,000 to $185,000. This role is also eligible for a target annual bonus of 15% of base salary, based on individual and company performance. In addition to base pay and bonus eligibility, this role includes clear forms of additional compensation, such as:

• A monthly Connectivity Plus stipend of $150 to support remote work-related expenses
• An annual $200 home office reimbursement
