Job summary

Up Closets of Indianapolis is seeking an experienced Lead Closet Installer to oversee our installation team while delivering premium custom storage solutions throughout Central Indiana.

Lead a team, make on-site decisions, and ensure five-star customer experiences on every project. Experience with closets, cabinetry, and millwork is highly valued, with strong problem-solving and leadership skills essential for success.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in installation leadership or supervision.
• Experience with custom closets, cabinetry, or millwork preferred.
• Ability to read installation drawings and plans.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of installers on residential installation projects.
• Coordinate daily installation plan and job site workflow.
• Ensure installations are accurate, efficient and on schedule.
• Make on-site decisions to resolve installation challenges.
• Maintain quality standards on every project.
• Install custom closets, pantries, laundry rooms, garages and offices.
• Read and interpret installation drawings and design plans.
• Perform precision installation, scribing, adjustments and hardware work.
• Ensure each project reflects Up Closets’ quality standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service and act as On-site contact.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners throughout installation.
• Train and mentor installers; promote teamwork and continuous improvement.
