Up Closets of Collin County is seeking an experienced Lead Operations and Closet Installer to join our growing team. This hands-on leadership role oversees installation teams, project prep, scheduling, and quality control to deliver a smooth customer experience.

The ideal candidate has closet installation or finish carpentry experience, strong leadership and problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining high standards.

Qualifications

• Has previous experience in closet installation, cabinetry, finish carpentry, millwork, construction, remodeling, or a similar trade.
• Has strong carpentry, measuring, leveling, drilling, and installation skills.
• Can read measurements, plans and design drawings.
• Experience leading or supervising a crew.
• Organized and able to manage multiple project details.

Responsibilities

• Lead the installation of closets, pantries, garages, home offices and other systems.
• Read design plans and interpret installation specifications.
• Install cabinetry, shelving, drawers, doors and hardware to standards.
• Ensure installations are accurate, efficient and compliant.
• Troubleshoot on-site installation challenges and keep sites organized.
• Provide a professional customer experience throughout the process.
• Coordinate with ownership and design teams on project details.
• Manage installer scheduling and staffing for upcoming projects.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory for installations.
