Job summary

Up Closets of Collin County is seeking an experienced Lead Operations and Closet Installer to guide on-site teams, manage project prep, and ensure a smooth installation experience from start to finish.

As the primary on-site leader, you''ll oversee installation of custom closets and cabinets, read design plans, ensure quality, troubleshoot issues, and maintain clean, safe job sites while delivering professional customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience in closet installation, cabinetry, finish carpentry, millwork, construction, remodeling, or a similar trade.
• Strong carpentry, measuring, leveling, drilling, and installation skills.
• Able to read measurements, plans, and design drawings.
• Experience leading or supervising a crew.
• Organized and able to manage multiple project details.
• Strong problem-solving skills and professional communication.
• Pays close attention to details and takes pride in delivering high-quality work.
• Dependable, punctual, and accountable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the installation of closets, pantries, garages, home offices, entertainment centers, and other systems.
• Read and interpret design plans, measurements, and installation specifications.
• Install cabinetry, shelving, drawers, doors, hardware, and other components.
• Ensure installations are completed accurately, efficiently, and to company standards.
• Identify and troubleshoot installation challenges on-site.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site; protect customers' homes.
• Provide a positive customer experience throughout the installation process.
• Review upcoming projects and installation schedules to ensure team preparedness.
• Coordinate with ownership and design team regarding project details and materials.
• Delegate responsibilities and provide clear direction to the installation team.
