Job summary

Pediatric Associates is seeking a Full-Time Outpatient Pediatrician to join our Riverview, Florida practice and serve as the office lead. The role includes patient care, administrative leadership, and collaboration with a large network of pediatric specialists.

Qualifications include MD/DO in Pediatrics, ACGME/AOA residency, and Florida licensure with DEA. A 4-day work week with varied hours and relocation/sign-on bonuses are offered with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree in Pediatrics and board-eligible or board-certified within 5 years
• ACGME/AOA pediatrics residency completed or equivalent
• Current, unrestricted Florida medical license or ability to obtain
• Current, unrestricted Florida DEA license or ability to obtain
• Board-eligible/Board-certified in Pediatrics within 5 years
• BLS certification required; PALS as hospital-appointment requirement
• Meets all requirements for medical staff membership and privileges

Position Overview:

• Full-Time Pediatrician – Office Lead

• 3 days 8am-5pm
• 1 day 8am-7pm
• 2:4 Saturday 8am-12pm
• Shared Well Newborn Nursery Rounds at affiliated local hospitals

Education, Licensure & Certification:

• M.D. or D.O. degree required
• Successful completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) approved post-graduate residency, or equivalent in Pediatrics
• Current, Unrestricted license to practice medicine or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida
• Current, Unrestricted DEA license or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida
• Board Eligible or Board Certification in Pediatrics within five years of completing training
• Meets all requirements to obtain medical staff membership and privileges as required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) as required for hospital appointment
