Job summary

Pediatric Associates is seeking a Part-Time Outpatient Advanced Practice Practitioner to join our Riverview, Florida location. The role supports our mission to deliver high-quality pediatric care with a provider-parent partnership and a strong clinical team.

Qualified candidates hold an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program, Florida licensure, and appropriate board certifications (ANCC/PNCB or NCCPA).

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an Accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program.
• Physician Assistants must have passed the NCCPA certification exam.
• Nurse Practitioners must be board certified (ANCC or PNCB).
• Current, Unrestricted license to practice in Florida and DEA license.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient pediatric care in Riverview, FL.
• Collaborate with physicians and allied health staff to deliver compassionate pediatric care.
• Assist with clinical and administrative tasks to support the Riverview location.

Education, Licensure & Certification:

• Successful completion of an Accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program
• Physician Assistants must have passed the NCCPA certification exam
• Nurse Practitioners graduating after July 1, 2006, must be board certified
• Nurse Practitioners must be certified by the ANCC or PNCB
• Current, Unrestricted license to practice medicine or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida
• Current, Unrestricted DEA license or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida
• Meets all requirements to obtain medical staff membership and privileges as required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
