Job summary

The State of Connecticut’s Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services seeks a Supervising Clinician in Stamford to lead forensic outpatient services. Qualifications

• Seven (7) years of professional health care experience in a psychiatric setting.
• Two (2) years of the General Experience must have been at a lead level coordinating a unit or team of professionals.
• Substitutions allowed: Bachelor's degree may substitute for up to four years; Master's may substitute for one additional year.

Responsibilities

• Schedules, assigns and oversees work of staff.
• Develops unit goals and objectives.
• Recruitment, training and development of staff.
• Conducts performance evaluations.
• Coordinate and supervise unit activities.
• Maintain relationships with community representatives and staff.
• Mediates conflicts impacting service recipients.
• Ensure staff access to community resources and integration into planning.
