The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine is seeking a Research Scientist to develop and supervise clinical TBI research projects in support of TBICoE in Silver Spring, MD.

You will design protocols, review literature, and coordinate grant submissions while training staff and ensuring compliance with DoD/DoD-affiliated research standards. Ideal candidates will have a doctoral degree in a related field and 2–3 years of clinical research experience, with DoD/VA

Qualificações

• PhD or MD/PhD or terminal doctorate in a related field; Master’s with 10+ years clinical TBI experience considered.
• Must complete CITI/HIPAA training.
• Minimum 2–3 years of clinical research experience.
• DoD/VA system experience with neurological disorders and TBI is strongly preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, execute, and oversee laboratory research with experimental hypotheses and protocols.
• Monitor literature; prepare reports, manuscripts and patent applications.
• Coordinate and prepare grant and funding applications.
• Process and interpret experimental data; maintain detailed documentation.
• Train and supervise staff; collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Attend required trainings and adhere to local leadership guidance.
