Job summary

Alcanza Clinical Research is seeking a Principal Investigator to lead daily clinical trial activities across multiple sites. You will ensure participant safety and regulatory compliance while coordinating a team and working with sponsors to achieve study goals.

The role requires an MD/DO, active license, board certification, and strong clinical and administrative skills to manage trials in accordance with ICH/GCP and HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with an active license in the state of practice and board certification
• Clinical skills and procedures in specialty area
• Proficiency with MS Office, EHRs, and web applications; 40+ wpm typing
• Strong organizational skills, detail orientation, and math proficiency
• Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred; excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to work independently and handle sensitive information per HIPAA

Responsibilities

• Ensure medical safety and well-being of study participants per FDA, ICH, GCP, HIPAA and protocol guidelines
• Provide site leadership to improve efficiency, patient safety, and regulatory compliance
• Evaluate participant eligibility and oversee recruitment and retention
• Interact with sponsors, clients and team members to ensure quality delivery
• Maintain accurate data recording and documentation following procedures
• Participate in protocol training and Investigator Meetings
• Perform other duties as assigned
