Job summary

The People Concern in Santa Monica seeks a Clinical Program Manager to lead the C3 Street Outreach team and oversee coordinated care, data reporting, and collaboration with partner agencies. The role advances a city strategy to connect homeless individuals with interim and permanent housing and supportive services.

You will supervise staff, ensure documentation accuracy, and manage program operations within the Outreach department, maintaining compliance with funding sources and program

Qualifications

• Masters’ degree in mental health field; supervision hours available for this position.
• Ability to register with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) within one month of hire.
• Willingness to become LPS (Lanterman-Petris-Short) designated.
• Valid and current California Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
• One year of experience providing direct supervision and management of staff.
• Minimum of two years’ full-time experience working with the homeless and with mental illness/substance challenges.
• Able to work in a high tolerance harm reduction model with individuals who have multiple barriers.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the multidisciplinary team, ensuring continuity of care between agency resources and partnering agencies.
• Provide individual and team supervision, support, and annual performance evaluations for staff.
• Provide guidance to staff in emergencies and crisis situations.
• Guide team in collaborating with external providers, such as psychiatry and medical providers.
• Assist with client crisis management including assessments for psychiatric hospitalizations.
• Conduct triage assessments responding to medical and mental health crisis situations.
