Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a hospital pharmacist for several inpatient and pediatric satellite pharmacy roles in Charlotte, NC. You will oversee patient pharmacotherapy, educate patients and caregivers, and ensure safe medication use across departments.

The position requires a pharmacy degree and licensure; PGY2/pediatrics/oncology experience and board certification are preferred. This is a full-time, 40-hour per week dayshift role with potential weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Doctorate degree in pharmacy from ACPE-accredited school required.
• No experience required; inpatient pharmacist experience preferred (PGY2 or equivalent) with BCOP/BCPPS certification favored.

Responsibilities

• Oversees pharmaceutical care and designs pharmacotherapeutic regimens.
• Provides patient counseling on medications, adverse effects, compliance, and administration.
• Interprets medication orders and supports medication safety and quality improvement.
• Collaborates with healthcare team for formulary management and drug acquisition.
