Job summary

Advocate Christ Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to join the inpatient hematology/oncology team. The role focuses on comprehensive medication management for an oncology unit, with opportunities to precept learners and contribute to oncology pharmacy practice advancement.

Candidates should have inpatient hematology/oncology experience; BCOP preferred and at least 5 years of clinical experience. Licensure in the state and immunization certification are required where applicable.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree from ACPE-accredited school required or NABP FPGEC certificate.
• Licensed in the state of practice or eligible for reciprocity.
• Immunization and non-vaccine injectable certification may be required per area of practice.
• Inpatient hematology/oncology experience preferred; BCOP desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee pharmaceutical care and design patient-specific regimens.
• Counsel patients and caregivers on medications, adverse effects, and adherence.
• Precept learners and mentor pharmacy teammates.
• Ensure formulary adherence and participate in safety/quality initiatives.
• Review orders and participate in medical emergencies as needed.
