A leading healthcare organization in Suffern, NY, is seeking a Lead Clinical Lab Technologist to supervise laboratory operations and ensure quality patient testing. The role requires a Bachelor's degree and significant experience, focusing on workflow management and compliance with regulatory standards.
The Lead Clinical Lab Technologist supervises Laboratory staff and operations to ensure that patient testing occurs in a timely and satisfactory manner. This position is responsible for workflow technical and patient issues, acts as a technical consultant for technical and patient issues, and coordinates lab instruments and maintenance. The lead technologist functions as a testing technologist for the majority of the time. The testing menu for this facility is limited to general chemistry and general hematology.

Qualifications/Requirements:
Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience as Clinical Lab Technologist required. Computer skills to include word processing and spread sheets using Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.
Education: Bachelor's Degree required.
Licenses / Certifications: NY State Education Department license a Clinical Laboratory Technologist required; National registration (NCA/ASCP) preferred.
Other: Leadership skills in a customer-oriented environment preferred.
