Job summary

Lighthouse Lab Services in Manhattan, NY is seeking an experienced Clinical Laboratory Supervisor to oversee daily operations of the clinical pathology laboratory while performing hands-on testing in chemistry, immunoassay, hematology and allergy testing.

The role includes leading staff, planning workflow, ensuring quality control, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with CLIA, OSHA, HIPAA, and state/local requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory science or related field is required.
• Advanced laboratory certification is preferred.
• At least 4 years of progressive clinical laboratory experience with supervisory responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily hands-on laboratory testing in chemistry, immunoassay, hematology and allergy testing.
• Lead, coach, train, and direct laboratory personnel; assign work based on workflow needs and staffing.
