Qualifications

• B.S. degree preferred; graduation from an approved school of medical technology.
• California Clinical Laboratory Technologist license required; ASCP or equivalent desired.
• Six years as a registered technologist in an acute care hospital.
• Ability to work independently and maintain current knowledge for patient care across age groups.

Responsibilities

• Lead CLS for the assigned section under administrative direction, ensuring policies and quality control.
• Monitor technicians and ensure timely, accurate testing and accreditation support.
• Maintain and implement policies, procedures, and quality assurance practices; support a customer-driven service initiative.
