Job summary

The Supervisory Dietitian (Clinical Nutrition) role oversees the clinical nutrition section, providing administrative and technical supervision over staff at the GS11 level and below. The position executes clinical nutrition programming across the facility, community clinics, and local community.

Responsibilities include leadership of the section, development of procedures, staff development, and coordination with food service to enhance Veteran dining and ensure regulatory standards are met.

Qualifications

• Must hold the RDN credential from the CDR.
• At least 1 year supervisory experience at GS-11 level or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of clinical nutrition and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Clinical Nutrition Section and supervise staff.
• Develop procedures for clinical operations and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead planning, training, and resource allocation within the section.
• Collaborate with the food service team to support veteran dining experience.
