Job summary

Kite Pharma is seeking an Executive Director of Clinical Development (MD) to lead a multi-myeloma cell-therapy portfolio. You will shape strategy, oversee trials, and coordinate with external partners and health authorities to advance regulatory submissions and scientific communications.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in drug development, strong leadership, and a track record managing complex cross-functional teams and budgets in the biopharma industry.

Qualifications

• MD/DO and 8+ years of clinical, scientific and/or drug development experience in biopharma or related field.
• Board certification in hematology and/or medical oncology preferred.
• Experience leading complex, late-phase cell therapy programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design, conduct, evaluation, close-out and reporting of trials across the portfolio.
• Lead development and execution of clinical development strategy and plans.
• Represent products in cross-functional governance and with health authorities.
• Direct clinical trial protocols, study reporting and regulatory documentation.
• Develop external partnerships and manage external relationships.
• Mentor and manage direct reports and cross-functional teams.
