Job summary

Kite Pharma is seeking an Executive Director, Clinical Development (MD) to lead the clinical development program in multiple myeloma with CAR-T/cell therapy focus. This role drives strategy, trial design, data analysis, regulatory documentation, and external collaborations across a portfolio of trials.

The position requires MD/DO with 8+ years of experience in biopharma drug development, strong leadership, and ability to travel.

Qualifications

• MD/DO and 8+ years of clinical, scientific and/or drug development experience in the biopharma industry, healthcare, consulting, academia, or a related environment.
• Board certification in hematology and/or medical oncology is preferred, including familiarity with clinical oncology.
• Experience in multiple myeloma disease area, and cellular therapy therapeutic area is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads or oversees development of Target Product Profile and Clinical Development Plan for assigned molecules/products.
• Works with cross-functional teams to develop and oversee the clinical development strategy for the assigned products.
• Represents assigned products in cross-functional steering and governance committees.
• Oversees clinical trial protocol design and study reporting for assigned products.
• Leads communications with health authorities and provides medical monitoring for trials.
