Job summary

The Davey Tree Expert Company is seeking a climbing arborist crew leader to join our outdoor team. You will work with skilled professionals to trim and remove trees, manage health hazards, and ensure safety on job sites across our service areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Driver’s license required; CDL preferred depending on job requirements.
• Certificates and licenses as necessary.
• Pesticide license, if required by state law.
• Herbicide license a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supports crew by handling lowering ropes, limbs and persons from aloft.
• Supplying tools for tree workers.
• Controlling road and sidewalk traffic as needed with warning devices or other methods.
• Cutting, chipping, stump grinding and loading brush and wood and proper job site cleanup.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Commercial driver’s license (CDL)
