The Davey Tree Expert Company is seeking a dynamic Climbing Arborist Crew Leader to join our team. This outdoor role directs a crew, plans tasks, and delivers arboricultural care for residential and commercial clients.

Office is outdoors with regular climbing, mentoring, and equipment operation. Opportunities for advancement exist within Employee Owned culture and extensive safety programs; travel up to 25% may be required.

Formación

• Complete the Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program on hire.
• Complete the Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course on hire.
• Preferred: pesticide licenses and certificates
• Preferred: ISA Certified Arborist, ISA Certified Tree Worker, and/or TCIA Certified Tree Care Safety Professional

Responsabilidades

• Directs crew members and equipment and plans and executes assigned work.
• Lead a crew safely to provide arboricultural care for clients.
• Perform pruning, thinning and removal of deadwood throughout the canopy.
• Install cables, bracing and lightning protection systems as needed.
• Remove hazardous trees to protect clients and property.
• Mentor crew members through the Davey Career Development Program.
• Maintain and operate all tools and equipment including chainsaws and chippers.
