Job summary

The Davey Tree Expert Company is seeking a dynamic Climbing Arborist Crew Leader to direct crews, plan and execute arboricultural work, and mentor crew members in best practices on client sites. The role is on-site, requires climbing and operating equipment, and offers opportunities across locations in the US.

Your office is outdoors, you will work with the Davey Career Development Program, safety training, and a range of benefits.

Qualifications

• Must complete the Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program upon hire.
• Must complete the Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire.
• Preferred: Relevant pesticide licenses and certificates.
• Preferred: ISA Certified Arborist®, ISA Certified Tree Worker®, and/or TCIA Certified Tree Care Safety Professional®.

Responsibilities

• Directs crew members and equipment and plans and executes assigned work.
• Lead a crew in providing arboricultural care for our clients.
• Mentor crew members through the Davey Career Development Program.
• Properly maintain, prepare and operate all tools and equipment including chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts and more.
