Job summary

The Davey Tree Expert Company in Gibsonia, PA is seeking a climbing arborist crew leader who directs a crew and equipment to perform arboricultural care outdoors. You will mentor teammates, manage jobsite safety, and operate tools including chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts in diverse conditions.

Qualifications

• Love of the outdoors.
• Ability to complete the Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program upon hire.
• Ability to complete the Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire.
• Preferred: ISA Certified Arborist®, ISA Certified Tree Worker®, and/or TCIA Certified Tree Care Safety Professional®.

Responsibilities

• Directs crew and equipment; plans and executes assigned work.
• Lead a crew in arboricultural care for clients.
• Pruning, thinning and removing deadwood; install cables, bracing, lightning protection.
• Mentor crew members through the Davey Career Development Program.
• Maintain and operate tools and equipment including chainsaws and lifts.
