Job summary

The Davey Tree Expert Co. is seeking a qualified individual for an on-site position in Lawrence, PA. Responsibilities include directing tree care crew, climbing trees with various systems, and ensuring proper care for clients' trees.

The ideal candidate will have a strong love for the outdoors, must complete specific orientation and safety programs upon hire, and will benefit from numerous employee perks including paid time off, 401(k) matching, and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must complete the Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program upon hire.
• Must complete First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire.
• Preferred licenses and certifications relevant to pest control and Arboriculture.

Responsibilities

• Climb trees using appropriate climbing systems.
• Lead a crew in providing arboricultural care.
• Conduct jobsite safety planning and equipment selection.
• Mentor crew members through career development program.
• Maintain and operate tools such as chainsaws and aerial lifts.

ISA Certified Arborist
