Job summary
The Davey Tree Expert Company is seeking a dynamic Climbing Arborist Crew Leader to oversee a field crew on residential and commercial tree care projects. Your office is outdoors, and you will direct operations, mentor crew members, and ensure safe, efficient work using DdRT/MRS and SRT/SRS climbing systems.

Qualifications
- Ability to lead a crew safely and productively in arboricultural care.
- Completion of Davey Tree orientation and safety courses upon hire.
- Preferred pesticide licenses/certificates and ISA/TCIA certifications.
Responsibilities
- Lead a crew safely and productively to provide arboricultural care for clients.
- Follow the H.O.P.E. process for jobsite hazards, obstacles, plan and equipment.
- Prune, thin and remove deadwood throughout the tree canopy.
- Install cables, bracing and lightning protection systems.
- Remove hazardous trees and mentor crew members through the Career Development Program.
- Maintain and operate tools including chainsaws, chippers and aerial lifts.
