Job summary

The Davey Tree Expert Company in Kent, WA is seeking a Climbing Arborist Crew Leader to direct a crew and equipment, plan and execute assigned work, and provide high-quality arboricultural care for clients on site. Responsibilities include mentoring crew members, operating chainsaws and aerial lifts, and ensuring safety and efficiency in all tasks.

Qualifications

• Love of the outdoors.
• Ability to complete the Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program upon hire.
• Ability to complete the Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire.
• Preferred: Relevant pesticide and related licenses and certificates.
• Preferred: ISA Certified Arborist, ISA Certified Tree Worker and/or TCIA Certified Tree Care Safety Professional.

Responsibilities

• Lead a crew safely and productively to provide arboricultural care for clients.
• Mentor crew members through the Davey Career Development Program.
• Maintain and operate tools and equipment including chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts.
• Plan and execute job tasks, ensuring site safety and efficiency.
