Job summary

The Davey Tree Expert Company is seeking a Climbing Arborist Crew Lead in North Royalton, Ohio. This on-site role directs a crew delivering arboricultural care for clients while climbing trees using DdRT/MRS or SRT/SRS systems.

You'll mentor crew members, handle pruning, cabling, removal of hazardous trees, and operate tools and equipment. Solutions focus on safety, training, and customer service in a dynamic outdoor environment.

Qualifications

• Complete Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program upon hire.
• Complete Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire.
• Preferred: ISA/TCIA certifications and pesticide licenses.

Responsibilities

• Climb trees using DdRT/MRS and SRT/SRS systems.
• Safely and productively lead a crew in arboricultural care for clients.
• Manage jobsite hazards, obstacles, plan, and equipment (H.O.P.E.).
• Pruning, thinning and removing deadwood throughout the canopy.
• Install cables, bracing and lightning protection systems.
• Removal of hazardous trees.
• Mentor crew members through the Davey Career Development Program.
• Maintain and operate tools and equipment including chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts, etc.
