Job summary

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) seeks a Clean Utilities Lead to oversee clean utility system design, including WFI, purified water, clean steam, and process gases, ensuring qualification readiness for major capital projects.

Required are a Bachelor's in Engineering and 10+ years in clean utilities with overseeing multi-disciplinary teams on projects over $500M TIC; PE license preferred. The role emphasizes startup, commissioning, and regulatory alignment within GMP contexts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience with clean utilities systems design and engineering.
• Strong knowledge of engineering, design, constructability, operability, and maintainability best practices and code requirements for these systems.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering and design activities for capital projects in excess of $500M TIC.
• Experience supporting pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or GMP-regulated facilities.
• Prior experience in an Owner’s Representative or PMC role for major capital projects in excess of $1B TIC.
• Experience supporting commissioning, qualification, and startup activities.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.

Responsibilities

• Ensure utility designs, equipment selections, and operational strategies support manufacturing requirements, contamination control objectives, regulatory expectations, qualification activities and startup readiness.
• Serve as the primary engineering advisor for clean utility systems.
• Oversee design and engineering team responsible for meeting the project requirements in this area, including but not limited to day to day oversight and participation in design reviews.
