Job summary
KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) is seeking a Piping Design Lead to provide technical leadership across process and utility piping systems for large pharmaceutical/biotech manufacturing projects. You will coordinate design activities through procurement, construction, and startup, ensuring compliance with GMP and industry codes.
Ideal candidates bring 15+ years of piping engineering and field execution experience, plus proficiency in 3D design tools such as Aveva E3D, Hexagon Smart 3D,
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or 20+ years piping experience for senior lead role.
- 15+ years in piping engineering, design and field execution on large projects.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary piping activities through design, construction and startup.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and coordination for process and utility piping systems.
- Ensure compliance with codes, GMP requirements, and project specs through design reviews.
- Oversee routing, material selection, stress analyses, and interface management.
- Support construction, commissioning, qualification, and startup readiness.
