Job summary

Technosoft Engineering, a long‑standing engineering services provider, seeks an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to lead design and review for industrial facilities in steel and concrete. You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, ensure code compliance, and manage project budgets and schedules.

Based in Pittsburgh, this on-site role offers relocation support and a comprehensive benefits package. Applicants must have a Civil Engineering degree and 10+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Civil Engineering, specializing in Structures
• 10+ years engineering experience in structural steel and concrete design of industrial facilities
• Strong English written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously
• Detail oriented, committed to quality
• Proficient in STAAD Pro or similar software
• Knowledge of codes and standards relevant to structural design (AISC 360, ACI 318, ASCE-7, IBC)
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

Responsibilities

• Works collaboratively in a team environment and interfaces with clients professionally
• Prepares and checks concrete and structural steel designs per project specifications and codes
• Coordinates 3D models and 2D drawings with Designers/Drafters
• Prepares and checks technical reports and specifications
• Performs field activities and documents existing conditions
• Functions as Lead Engineer, supervising designers and staff, monitoring budgets and schedules
• Coordinates tasks with engineers, designers and administrative staff
