The role emphasizes staff development, resource planning, and strong leadership across disciplines, with retrofit experience and extensive codes knowledge as key assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology.
• 15+ years of heavy industrial experience.
• PE license with multi-state eligibility.
• Significant structural engineering experience with project delivery.
• 5+ years of managerial experience or senior lead roles.
• Experience managing staff, budgets, and client coordination; proposal writing and cost estimation.

Responsabilités

• Oversee civil/structural engineers and designers; lead design and execution of projects.
• Ensure department growth and staff utilization to meet billable goals.
• Recruit, develop, train, and retain staff.
• Ensure adherence to company guidelines and quality standards.
• Foster a high-performance department culture and process improvements.
• Define, assign, and monitor department tasks; manage scope, schedule, budget.
• Prepare bids, scopes of work, estimates, schedules, and design documents.
