Job summary

Progressive Design, Inc. is seeking a Senior Civil/Structural Engineer for a full-time position located in Midlothian, VA in the Richmond area. The role focuses on design engineering for small to mid-sized industrial clients, requiring a strong commitment to quality and team collaboration.

Candidates should hold an ABET accredited engineering degree with at least 10 years of relevant experience. A competitive compensation package is offered, including health care benefits, paid time off, and a salary range of $120k-$150k with a 10% discretionary bonus target.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of heavy industrial experience in structural engineering.
• Virginia Professional Engineer preferred but not required.
• Must be a US citizen with a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform civil and structural design duties as standalone or multi-disciplined projects.
• Assist project manager in developing estimates, schedules, and documentation.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of all deliverable products.

Skills

Civil/Structural Engineering degree

Heavy industrial experience

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, 3D CAD

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
