Job summary

CPH is seeking a Project Manager / Site Civil Engineer to lead site/civil design projects in Florida, guiding from concept through permitting to construction. You will manage scopes, schedules, budgets, and client relations, while mentoring junior staff.

The role offers high visibility, leadership responsibility, and opportunities to grow within a nationally recognized firm focused on parks, public works, education, and municipal projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in site/civil engineering.
• PE license (or ability to obtain quickly) strongly preferred.
• Proven experience managing site development projects and client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a lead / senior civil engineer on a variety of site/civil project types.
• Lead and organize workload, perform design tasks independently.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and staff.
• Serve as primary client liaison, building strong relationships and identifying opportunities.
• Prepare and review plans, reports, calculations, and specifications for quality/compliance.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Prepare permits (ERPs, NPDES, SWPPP, Grading, Utilities) and coordinate with authorities.
• Collaborate with planning, environmental, transportation, and surveying teams.
