Ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree and MD PE license, with 12+ years in land development design and 5+ years in staff leadership. Strong client relations, communication, and business development skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• PE license (MD) required.
• 12+ years of civil engineering land development design experience.
• Minimum 5 years managing civil/site design with staff oversight preferred.
• Strong organizational, delegation, and leadership abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a portfolio of civil/site land development design projects, ensuring client satisfaction and project profitability.
• Lead client relations and contribute to developing proposals and securing new work.
• Maintain schedules, budgets, and invoicing, while ensuring projects meet financial targets.
• Provide technical leadership and support to the team to help clients achieve development goals.
• Represent clients at key project milestones, including public presentations and hearings.
• Drive business development and marketing efforts for the client organization.
• Mentor and supervise design staff, including workload/resource planning, quality control, and performance feedback.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to meet organizational objectives.
