Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Civil Engineer for our Water sector in Louisiana, with offices in Baton Rouge or Metairie. The role covers concept planning through detailed design of municipal drainage and water/wastewater infrastructure, including pumping stations, distribution and sewer systems.

You will lead multi-disciplinary design teams, prepare reports and drawings, and work with agencies to obtain permits while mentoring junior staff and building client relationships.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant civil engineering experience.
• BS degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Louisiana.

Responsibilities

• Lead a design team in engineering reports, designs, and cost estimates.
• Prepare design drawings, calculations, and contract specifications per agency guidelines.
• Oversee quantity takeoffs and construction cost estimates.
• Mentor junior staff and coordinate with clients to develop solutions.
