Job summary

Argus Consulting is seeking a Lead Civil Engineer to guide civil projects from concept through completion. You will provide technical leadership, oversee execution, ensure standards compliance, and deliver sustainable infrastructure solutions.

You will mentor junior engineers, manage scopes and schedules, and serve as the primary contact for clients and contractors. The role starts remote with a transition to the Omaha, NE area and involves up to 40% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage civil engineering projects from conception to completion.
• Develop technical scopes, labor estimates, and project schedules.
• Direct and mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Serve as primary market contact for project managers, clients, and contractors.
• Conduct QA/QC reviews and ensure compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Support staffing, workload distribution, and resource planning.
• Participate in business development activities and client proposals.
• Monitor market performance and drive continuous improvement.
